John 19-17-27
On this day of Crucifixion, John was given the task to take Mary as his mother. John was watching his Lord die when He makes a last request. The youngest out of all the disciples is given great responsibility.
This reminds of the responsibilities that the Lord has given me. How exciting it is to know that Christ has a perfect and pleasing plan for my life and that I am equipped and ready to complete it. I pray that I would be ready and waiting to hear the request of my Lord when He brings it. I want to obey like John and embrace the responsibility.
