Mark 5:35-43
What a privilege that John had to spend such incredible first days with Jesus. John along with the other three have witnessed Jesus healing and his teaching, but now for something new. This day John watches Jesus call a young girl back to life. Jesus displays his power over death, but asks that it stay within the house. What an incredible day to be apart of and watch. If I was in John's shoes, I probably would have been shocked, puzzled, delighted, about to scream, about to cry, wanting to ask questions, and just wanting to watch the young girl walk around the room. What an amazing God we have!
